How do I become an Android beta tester?
Join RootRecord Testing on Google Groups (see step-by-step guide), then open Android beta links for closed-testing opt-in and public Play listings. Use the same Google account on your phone as in the group.
How do I install RootRecord Business Manager on Android?
Open RootRecord Business Manager or go directly to Business Manager on Google Play on your phone, then install or update from the Play Store. APKs are also on GitHub Releases if you sideload.
How do I install Root Record Weather Manager on Android?
Open Root Record Weather Manager or go directly to Weather Manager on Google Play on your phone, then install or update from the Play Store. APKs and release notes are also on GitHub Releases if you sideload.

How do I create an account?
Use Create account to sign up, or Account to sign in. If you use the rootrecord.info web app, you can also use Sign up and manage your profile at Account.
RootRecord Business Manager
Where is my data stored?
On Android, signed-in Business Manager stores your workspace with RootRecord’s hosted API (api.rootrecord.info). Export and backup options are described in the app.
Do I need an account?
No for core time, money, clients, inventory, and reports. A RootRecord account is used for subscription, sync, and optional secure online backup when you enable them.
Why do "hours worked" totals differ from a raw sum of rows?
Overlapping clock intervals are merged for unique clock coverage so you are not double-counted when two blocks share the same minutes.
Does Business Manager need a constant internet connection?
No for everyday time, money, clients, inventory, and reports. Sign-in, sync, and secure backup need the network when you use those features.
What if payment is past due?
The app may switch to read-only until billing is current; use Billing on the web or in-app links to fix payment, then refresh status.
